Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which accounted for 9% of the total new job postings in Q4 2023 and were up by 53% year-on-year. Second highest were Management Occupations, which accounted for 6% and drop by 60% year-on-year, and third highest were Computer and Mathematical Occupations, which were 104% of the new job postings and 41% lower year-on-year.
Top five companies in oil and gas industry accounted for 55% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by Air Liquide with 517, followed by Arkema with 219, while the highest increase was at Solvay at 4%.
